Saint
Florent, Corsica - 19/20June 03 |

We had a good crossing to St Florent, some motoring yes but in the majority fair wind sailing for the 24 hour passage. Our timing was good as we approached Corsica at dawn on a beautiful morning - the scenery was an absolute delight to the eye.. High mountains, all the colours of good moorland, few houses and no tourist concrete. As ever we anchored off to enjoy the breeze and the peace. St Florent is the perfect place to make for; its a delight and very French mediterranean port full of pastel colours and delightful cafes. |

Above, Helen early morning after a night watch. Seems it does her good! Just look at those hills in the background. After the over population of the Riveria, this is heaven. |
