Centuri - 21 June 2003

Centuri is a small port on the North West tip of Corsica. Its too small for most yachts but has a small bay which is protected from most directions.

Rowing into the port was an absolute delight. And when we got ashore all resolve to eat onboard melted as we ate on the balcony of the restaruant overlooking the entire harbour (see the picture to the right).

Note aslo the wind farms which abound on the hills of Corsica. Surprisingly they are not ugly, rather technically interesting and a good indication of wind direction in a sheltered harbour.
