St-Tropez

Walkaway anchored just off St-Tropez. This is the area of silly arse prices and anchoring is the name of the game whereever and whenever possible even if the beard grows alarming fast but (in my case) unevely; once described as a Chinaman by my First Lieutenant in HMS Leopard as a Midshipman and banned from every trying again whilst in the Navy!! Helen would agree!

Made a major miscalculation in getting ashore. Decided to row to the harbour without doing my homework. 35 minutes later I got to the landing point and I was still well short of the harbour itself. I didn't mind the way there but the way back against the wind ........ Oh I need Helen to take charge of me. | |
Just to reset your minds - this is a super yacht and don't believe that it is the biggest.
There is no swell round here in such benign conditions but the wake continuously raised by speeding mega motor stink bimbs who pass you at a boats length at full tilt without even looking in your direction ...... I have actually taken it green all the way back to the cockpit. |

But occasionally there is something to restore one's faith.
There will be more on St-Tropez later no doubt as Helen will want to come back here.
