BARCELONA - 15 May to 17 May

I arrived in Barcelona at 2am having had a good crossing taking some 19 hours; the first half a bit rough (Hughieeeeeeee) with a beam sea and F5-6, the second half motoring in flat calm. However we made an average of 5.5kts which is good for Walks. Barcelona was cloudy throughout our stay and it was remarkably cold; not shorts weather as in Mallorca.

Barcelona was as lovely as ever; I enjoyed just bumbling up La Rambas and enjoying the intense bustling activity. All our friends were there....

I also went cycling aroung the Olympic Park and could not resist another visit to the Joan Miro exhibition which really is my all time favourite. Joan Miro sculpture with Barcelona in the background

But one must move on and, as an extremely noisy festival was in progress with a band until 4am, Saturday seemed a good day to start the move North into the Bay of Lion.
