Sadly at this stage the curse of any holiday had arrived; time to trace our way back to Portoferraio for Helen to start her return journey to UK via ferry to the mainland, train to Pisa and Ryan Air to Stanstead.

I'm on my own again which always takes getting used to so you need a plan. Back to Corsica and then Sardinia.
