Bosa Marina

From Cala del Bollo we went to Fertillia to confirm our liftout. We wanted a good sail and planned to go to Bosa Marina, some 40 miles South. The local Italian weather forecast was OK but the German forecast was gloom and doom. So with the majority of the liveaboards staying put, we set sail and, as it turns out, had a wonderful passage down the coast, the majority under cruising shute. 5 Kts registering on the log and a happy crew.

Bosa Marina is a small harbour supporting one pier for yachts and fishermen, but with a good spot to anchor off the beach; we chose to anchor. Below the harbour and the beach.

A happy crew at 5 kts
Bosa Marina Harbour

Bosa Harbour beach

The unusual rock structures off the harbour. Bosa is 45 minutes walk from the harbour. It is a suburb of Alghero and has much of its charm but sadly, with daylight hours shortening in, there was not enough time to get there and back. Half a chicken takeaway was a good alternative.

Now back to Porto Conte
